Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board selects IEG4’s All Age Continuing Care Platform to Transform its Services

May 2026: IEG4 (part of IEG Group) is pleased to announce that Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board (ICB) has successfully gone live with key elements of the IEG4 Digital Continuing Healthcare (CHC) solution, marking a significant step forward in the organisation’s digital transformation journey.

Approximately 6,200 cases are now live within the system, including CHC, Funded Nursing Care (FNC), Children and Young People (CYP), Adult Cases, Section 117 (S117), and Fast Track cases. The implementation represents a major milestone in modernising and streamlining Continuing Healthcare processes across the region.

The new platform will enhance the management of NHS-funded care packages by driving efficiencies in streamlining processes such as referrals, assessments, approvals, contracting, payments, and case management. This project to modernise its CHC process reflects HIOW ICB’s commitment to investing in digital solutions that improve operational efficiency and patient care.

The procurement process, conducted by HIOW ICB was for a five-year contract and aligns with similar initiatives in the region, including NHS Somerset ICB’s selection of IEG4’s digital CHC platform in August 2024.

Since contract signature in December 2025, both parties have been collaborating to deploy the solution, with full go-live taking place between March and July 2026.

This successful deployment reflects strong collaboration between Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB and IEG4, alongside a well-planned implementation approach designed to minimise disruption while maximising early value. The move to a fully digital CHC solution will help improve visibility, efficiency, governance, and financial control across Continuing Healthcare services.

IEG4 is proud to support Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB in delivering more streamlined, transparent, and digitally enabled Continuing Healthcare processes that benefit both staff and service users.

“We are delighted to welcome Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB into our digital CHC community and to support them in addressing their current challenges with our intuitive end-to-end platform.

In light of the recent government announcement in which ICBs need to reduce costs by 50%, now is the time to modernise Continuing Healthcare in order to deliver efficiencies, lower costs and free up workforce capacity. At IEG4, we are dedicated to supporting ICBs through this challenging landscape and ensuring that they deliver a streamlined service that responds to those challenges and stakeholder expectations”.
