The evolution of new and ever more powerful mobile computing and communication devices is allowing organizations to benefit from new business opportunities that are enabled in part through more connected customers, partners, and employees. A major part of today’s computing relies on the power of the Web and related technologies, particularly Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), which presents remote data to users without them having to worry about the details of how content was created.
Develop Intelligent Mobile Applications Quickly and Easily
A new product from IEG4 Limited, mFormWizard, enables quick
and easy development of intelligent, fully validated Microsoft
Windows Mobile 5.0 applications, through a user-focused
drag-and-drop design environment. Multi-page forms utilise validation and business logic and
perform multiple actions on submission.
mFormWizard enables organisations to rapidly develop their own
forms meaning that mobile workers and their customers can
benefit quickly from the transformational changes that mobile
working can deliver.
Mobile working provides employers, employees and customers with
a number of benefits:
-
Reduction in travelling times to and from an office means that customers benefit from faster response times and more time interacting with staff. The productivity gains associated with this alone are generally estimated at between 20% and 30% increase in productivity
-
Information collected in the field can populate back office systems directly removing the need for re-keying which provides further efficiency savings
-
Applications can be built utilising the same ‘look and feel’ as existing back office systems ensuring maximum productivity from day one
-
The security of field-based staff is enhanced through wireless links back to the office which can be used to monitor staff where necessary
-
Data is secured and encrypted even if device is stolen
-
Use of mobile forms reduces the use and need for storage of paper and the associated administrative costs
-
The use of electronic forms reduces paperwork which realises an associated reduction in administrative costs
-
Forms developed using mFormWizard may be used on any hardware device running Windows Mobile.

IEG4's Single Assessment Process
IEG4's Single Assessment Process enables Health and Social Services workers to gain and share knowledge about individuals in the care of local authorities. IEG4’s solution has been designed to conform to national standards for single assessment (specifically Cambridgeshire’s widely respected CAT tool, but the application can be adapted easily to other standard models).
IEG4’s Single Assessment Process (SAP) solution enables Care Managers and visiting staff to build a greater picture of Client’s requirements during the assessment process using mobile electronic devices, such as Tablet PC’s, Ultra Mobile PC's etc. Data can be captured by staff during visits and then integrated later into existing databases to build up a complete picture of clients' care requirements. The program can also be used by hospitals, for example, to view and amend data about patients, and to review data at a later date when the patient is out of hospital
